The Sustainable Building Science Technology program at South Seattle College confers an industry-focused, applied science and technology bachelor’s degree focusing on building science, management skills, essential technologies, and financial/budgeting operations. It’s designed for working adults and those in transition, with classes held in the evenings and Saturdays. Graduates are prepared to perform an array of building management functions such as budget development and management, maintaining occupant health and satisfaction, and sustainable use and replenishment of resources. They learn and practice the latest innovations and tools used in the field. Applicants should have relevant work experience with commercial or residential buildings.
