Through The Art of living ,Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar initiated the River Rejuvenation Projects to revive the dried up rivers, address water scarcity and bringing in Climate resilience with a team of experts. A holistic approach is adopted by using scientific studies through Geospatial technologies. Local communities , stake holders and people from various back grounds are involved to execute the projects using CSR funds or Government schemes for the implementation of action plan hence improving the socio-economic status. The methodology involves copying nature, bringing back the hydrological cycle and restore the Riverine Ecosystem by creating Eco Restoration Cells. This results in reducing soil erosion, increase in groundwater potential, improves soil moisture, reduces floods, improves green cover (flora and fauna) in the watershed region. Thereby bringing in Sustainable Development!
