SSM is dedicated to meeting the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health needs of people who are struggling with addiction and poverty on the streets of Oshawa. Currently, SSM serves the inner-city of Oshawa on Sundays at 3:00 p.m. Professionally Catered & Home-cooked Meals: Our team has participated in serving over 15,000 meals to those who are in need. Meals are hot and home-cooked to provide comfort and warmth. We also partner with local caterers to provide special, professionally catered meals for an extra 'taste of home' during the holidays Compassionate Humanitarian Work: Carrying out compassionate humanitarian work by meeting basic, practical needs of those living in poverty. We provide clothes, winter outerwear, footwear sleeping bags, small ($5) gift cards for an extra warm meal, hygiene supplies, and more to people in need of some extra help Inner City Church Services: creating an interactive community in the inner city that encourages relationships with others. These uplifting meetings promote spiritual, emotional and mental health. It is a place to belong, find support and understanding, along with fun and fellowship - everyone is welcomed.
