SSREI serves as a comprehensive sustainability-specific assessment of the Swiss real estate portfolio. Like the SNBS (Standard for Sustainable Construction Switzerland), SSREI is based on the SIA 112/1 standard «Sustainable Construction – Building Construction.» SSREI supports property owners such as real estate funds, listed real estate companies, investment foundations, insurance companies, pension funds, and public institutions in aligning their properties with increasingly stringent sustainability requirements and ensuring their long-term value retention. With its recognition by GRESB as an Operational Green Building Certification Scheme, SSREI is also gaining international recognition.
