We develop buildings that are natural and clearly designed - and that we realize with a high construction quality. In order to achieve this goal, we analyse each construction task in its specific complexity: programme, function, budget, location, context, form and technology all become important components of our design concept; by condensing this concept, we develop the guiding idea to the plausible form of the building. By consciously using the means of architecture, space, structure, materiality, light and colour, we create buildings that blend in with their surroundings and develop them further, individually and self-confidently. The intensive dialogue with our clients is very important for our work. Carefully developed buildings create added value beyond the pure programme - that is architecture, as we understand it.
Our office realises a wide range of different construction tasks - new buildings that are integrated into the inner-city context or the open landscape, and conversions or restructurings of high-quality, listed buildings in equal measure. Our activities focus on the planning and construction of health care buildings, research and teaching buildings, office/administrative buildings and high-quality residential buildings.
