St. Arnaud Physiotherapy Centre originated with the aim of providing the North Central region with the highest-quality physiotherapy service available, without the need of having to travel. Situated in Central Victoria, one hour from Bendigo and 2.5 hours from Melbourne, St. Arnaud Physiotherapy Centre (SAPC) services the wider St. Arnaud community including many neighbouring towns such as Donald, Stuart Mill, Charlton, Wycheproof and Dunolly. At SAPC, we are passionate about helping you achieve your goals and improving your quality of life. Whether it be reducing pain, restoring mobility or improving function; St. Arnaud Physiotherapy Centre will provide you with evidence-based treatment, education and rehabilitation to ensure you have a smooth and speedy recovery. Principal physiotherapist and founder of SAPC, Johanna Medlyn, has built her clinic into a reputable, hustling and bustling private practice over the last 9 years. Jo and her husband, Chris returned home to St. Arnaud from Bendigo (both were born and raised in St. Arnaud!) just prior to the birth of their first child in 2016. Eight months later, Johanna opened the doors of St. Arnaud Physiotherapy Centre and has been well supported by the entire community since. Meanwhile, two more children have been added to the family in 2018 and 2020, and the Medlyn family of five enjoy their country lifestyle and home on the farm. Locally, SAPC has a strong affiliation with many sporting clubs and enjoys servicing people of all ages across the lifespan. We are fortunate to work in close association with leading gym trainers, Kyle and Tessa Torney at their purpose built gymnasium, Torney’s Fighting Fit. Recently adding to our services, SAPC now offers Exercise Physiology, Adult Speech Pathology, Diabetes Education, Mat and Reformer Pilates, Clinical Pilates, Olympic Lifting.
