St Joseph's EMHSS Thrikkakara had its inception in the year 1963 by the Carmelite sisters of St.Teresa(CSST), a community started by Servant of God Mother Teresa of St.Rose of Lima. The school is one of the oldest in the region and it continues to be one of the premium educational institutions in the district.
