About St Nicholas Special School PTFA
St Nicholas Special School, located in Canterbury, is a vibrant community day school dedicated to serving over 390 children across all sites, ages 4 to 19, with profound, severe, and complex learning difficulties. Our students have varying needs, with many facing physical disabilities, epilepsy, autism, and sensory impairments. The PTFA at St Nicholas has been a cornerstone of support, enriching the educational experiences of our students. Through committed fundraising efforts, we have been able to provide invaluable resources. However, raising the funds required to replace our ageing fleet of minibuses is a huge undertaking, requiring the support of our local community and businesses. Reliable, wheelchair accessible transportation is essential for our students to participate in crucial activities that enhance their learning and personal growth, including swimming lessons, therapeutic horse riding, and outdoor education. For more information or to discuss how your organization can get involved, please reach out to our PTFA team. We are excited to explore creative partnerships that align with your values and help us further our mission to success. Together, we can create incredible opportunities for the children at St Nicholas Special School!
