Staad, a leading family business in Veghel, the Netherlands, is setting a new standard in the world of electric earthmoving machines with the launch of the STAAD 17W. During Bauma 2025, Staad will reveal their first fully in-house developed electric excavator, a major milestone for the company and the European market. The STAAD 17W is a 17-tonne, emission-free excavator that requires no conversion, but is fully developed designed, and produced by Staad. The machine will be available starting mid-2026.
