Stacked.camp

Stacked is a community-focused project with the goal of helping campers find firewood. Stacked.camp is a lite-wieght webapp where the outdoor community can share locations where firewood is sold, known as Stacks, for other campers, RV'ers, backpackers, and outdoors-y folk to find. Stacked.camp maps locations like hardware store, gas stations, park offices, camp hosts, and roadside mom & pops. The project has a few goals in mind: Firstly, we want to make camping easier, especially for people new to camping or who are traveling and don't know the area. Second, we want to help prevent the spread of invasive species by encouraging folks to buy locally - which helps the environment as well as local businesses and families. And finally, we want to enourage campfire best practices and wildfire awareness by providing infomation about fire bans and restrictions across the United States based on location. Stacked.camp is designed to work on thousands of devices when internet is spotty. You can think of Stacked.camp as a user-generated map of reliable places to find the most important part of any camping trip; the firewood.
