StAG continues the history of StudioAG, a consultancy and advisory firm established in 2000 and specialising in Information Security and Data Protection, Digital Forensics, Compliance and Data Analysis. It is based in North-East Italy and possesses strong connections and outreach in Europe and outside. In advising our clients we adopt a technology-neutral perspective and of course a vendor-neutral approach. We select the best tools for each organisation, keeping in mind another guiding principle: Information Security and Data Protection cannot be approached by technical means only. We help build the correct organisational posture, awareness and education, all key elements for security, compliance and information risk management. Our experience included work for public bodies, SMEs and corporations in several different industries. Data protection is the other side of security and the object of a complex regulatory framework in the European Union. StAG S.rl. is involved in European R&D projects in the Horizon 2020 program, as well as in standards development.
