Stainless came into being in Paris in 1928. Its founder was one of the first importers of the then new steel, highly alloyed with chromium, that did not rust and was originally named “rustless” and then renamed “stainless” and at that time was being produced in the industrial north of England.
Nearly a century later, Stainless continues to specialise in the distribution of high performance alloys. Today its large range of products is distributed throughout the world from its platform in Dannemarie-sur-Crète, in the Burgundy Franche-Comté region, where the Head Office is also located.
