Stallion Technologies was a developer of Internet access, remote access, virtual private networking and serial connectivity solutions for Small to Medium Businesses (SMBs), with an emphasis on security, reliability and cost of ownership. Stallion's product range included a variety of network access servers that provided shared Internet access, Virtual Private Networking and remote access, and a range of multiport serial I/O cards. The company was originally named Anvil Designs and grew to quickly dominate its domestic Australian market for multiport boards. The company was founded with a dream of growing to become a global Unicorn, and while it expanded internationally it remained a niche supplier and was sold in 1995.
