A non-profit organisation registered in Nigeria (CAC/IT/NO/119742) Vision An inclusive society with equality, equity and economic empowerment for Persons that stammer. Mission To support and empower people who stammer through trainings, therapy, advocacy, welfare and to raise awareness in Nigeria and the world. Aims and Objectives 1) To build the self-esteem, confidence, employability and resoluteness of Stammerers through organising seminars to train, counsel, encourage, evaluate, empower, develop, inspire hope, mentor, motivate, heal emotionally, and advocate for people who stammer. 2) To provide free speech therapy for children and teenagers that stammer (18 And below). 3) To advocate for the rights, inclusion and entitlements of people who stammer. 4) To cater for the welfare of people who stammer. 5) To train people that stammer in public speaking and communication skills. 6) To initiate or contribute to policy formulations for the benefit of people that stammer. 7) To raise awareness in the society about the needs of people that stammer, There by reducing stigmatization and discrimination. 8) To provide help lines to listen and counsel stakeholders in the stammering Community (People who stammer, parents and family members, gurdians, employers, teachers, colleagues etc). 9) To use StammerTV and other media outlets to celebrate people that stammer. 10) To provide mentorship programmes for people that stammer 11) To organize the International Stammering Awareness Day every 22nd of October 12) To provide support groups for people that stammer 14) To facilitate research and provide information to all stakeholders in the Stammering community (people that stammer, parents and family members of people that stammer, Guardians, Teachers, Speech Language Therapist, Colleagues of people that stammer, Employers). 14) To reorientate early caregivers (teachers), employers and Nigerian son how Best to relate with a persons who stammers.
