Stanford Black Academic Development (BAD) Lab

The Black Academic Development (BAD) Lab is an innovative research center based in Stanford University's Graduate School of Education, dedicated to community-centered scholarly work. The lab focuses on building long-term research partnerships with Black faculty, particularly at Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and engages in interdisciplinary research in linguistics and educational praxis. These collaborations aim to explore and understand the learning experiences of Black educators and students across various disciplines, including education.
