Founded in 2000 by footwear designer Janet Middleton.
"After the birth of my son (in 1998), I made him some baby shoes, they were purple with yellow stars. They were so well recieved I decided to continue with baby shoes and formed a new brand Starchild.
The designs soon became hugely popular so along the years a team of skilled workers were needed. We now have over 20 workers and make a great team, collectively we have over 300 years of footwear experience! "
