Stargardt’s Connected (Registered Charity Number: 1183570) exists to raise awareness, give support and do what we can to progress towards a cure for Stargardt’s disease, a rare form of inherited central vision loss.
We are here to provide information to families affected by Stargardt’s, signpost them to available support, inform about the latest research, and promote a Stargardt’s community that we hope will assist in driving essential research forward.
Although there is no current treatment for Stargardt’s, the continuous groundbreaking research undertaken in the form of drug, gene and stem cell therapies means that treatments for Stargardt’s are looking increasingly optimistic. But there is still a considerable lack of awareness, funds and support for the Stargardt’s community, and this must change.
Stargardt’s Connected fundraises, runs events and activities for the Stargardt’s community, and raises awareness of Stargardt’s.
