StarOil Operating Company Limited was incorporated in the Republic of Mauritius on 23rd day of April 2007 as a private company and the liability of its members is limited by shares.
•According to its Constitution the general objects of the Company are: to engage in any qualified global business or businesses whatsoever which are consistent with the laws in force, to be the operator of Block 17, Sudan, under the terms of the Exploration and Production Sharing Agreement concluded with the Government of the Republic of the Sudan dated 11 November 2006, to borrow or raise money by the issue of debenture stock, bonds, mortgages or any other securities and to do all such other things as are incidental to or conducive to the conduct, promotion or attainment of the objects of the Company.
•StarOil was registered as a branch in Sudan on 8th December 2007 with a current registered office at Burj Libya Complex Plot 2, Block 8, Nile Street, Khartoum, Republic of the Sudan, PO Box 8376.
•Now StarOil is conducting exploration, production, transport and export of crude oil in the Sudan for and on behalf of its Shareholders.
