Since 2011, Starspeed Training has been soaring high in the skies of helicopter pilot training. With our professional, friendly and knowledgeable team, we’ve been cruising towards steady growth ever since. As part of Luxaviation Group and along with our Fairoaks colleagues at Starspeed Limited, we believe in making a good experience an unforgettable experience. We are based at Cotswold Airport in Gloucestershire and provide further training for already qualified helicopter pilots. We have an Elite AS 355 FNPT II twin engine device with dynamic control loading, trim and autopilot functions. Certain aircraft-based courses can also be held at Fairoaks and other remote bases on the ATO. Starspeed Training isn’t just about the take-off; we’re all about giving qualified pilots the advanced training they crave—think type ratings, instrument ratings, instructor certifications, and examiner skills! Please note, we now only hold a UK CAA ATO and no longer hold an EASA ATO. We also have the exciting upcoming addition of a new F-light Line H145D3 FTD3! The simulator will be equipped with leading-edge technology that replicates real flight scenarios and provides a realistic experience for pilots to practice and perfect their flying skills. It will come with advanced features, including a cockpit simulator, flight dynamics, and (original GARMIN®) navigation systems, allowing pilots to train in a safe and controlled environment.
