Extensive experience in delivering therapeutic counselling to mandated and voluntary clients. We have worked with complex clients within the North, West and South catchments of Melbourne. These clients have severe trauma triggered from their past that has impacted their development as well as daily living. Their exposure to trauma had lead them to engage in high risk behaviours such as; substance abuse, criminal activity, disengagement from pro-social activities (schooling and work), anger outbursts and many more. As clinicians, we have found that the key fundamental element to successful change is rapport. Rapport allows us to develop positive relationships built on trust that has influenced clients' engagement in therapy.
