START

START is an innovative interdisciplinary learning programme for Scottish schools that replicates the experience of participating in a startup business incubator. Created through a collaboration between leading voices in design and entrepreneurship and The High School of Glasgow, START teaches teams of senior pupils how to identify and solve real-world problems, turn their ideas into viable businesses, and communicate their vision to others. The programme uses the tools of design thinking and fosters skills that have been identified as crucial to the future economy: resilience, creativity, analytical thinking and empathy.
