StartGlocal at Rhine-Waal University

The project StartGlocal - Global Spirit for Local Start-ups supports start-ups and entrepreneurship at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences. StartGlocal is a project of the Centre for Research, Innovation and Transfer at Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and is funded by the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy within the funding program EXIST-Potentiale for the period from 1st April 2020 to 31st December 2024. The aim of StartGlocal is to establish a lively and active start-up culture at the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and to promote research-based innovative start-ups and entrepreneurial activities of students, alumni and employees. StartGlocal also aims to support knowledge and technology transfer between the regional economy and the Rhine-Waal University of Applied Sciences and to contribute to the economic and social development of the region. International character and interdisciplinary focus of the Rhine-Waal University play an important role in the StartGlocal project.
