Starting Up Bipolar

Why StartingUpBipolar.com? Management science and neuropsychology are more frequently viewed together to help explain how characteristics of the brain can contribute to a person’s nature in business. Particularly leading edge research continues to emerge indicating a strong correlation between bipolar disorder and a person’s tendency toward successful entrepreneurship. All is not good, necessarily, on the bipolar businessman’s horizon, of course. That is, just as research shows that some, often, “creative” advantages may exist among bipolar entrepreneurs, just as many pitfalls coexist for these professionals as well. With that in mind, the focus of this site is to explore the relationship between bipolar disorder and entrepreneurship in order to find and tap the rare resources afforded bipolar patients helping them to engage in promising new ventures. With this knowledge we might then evolve tools to maximize the viability and development potential of both bipolar entrepreneurs and their businesses.
