Startup Soirée; For Founders, By Founders Startup Soiree was a grassroots community and event series built to support and connect Baltimore’s entrepreneurs, creatives, and business leaders. Founded by Patrick Rife and Nick China, it provided a space for founders to engage in authentic, no-pitch conversations, share experiences, and build meaningful relationships. At its core, Startup Soiree was about real connections—whether through our monthly fireside chats featuring some of Baltimore’s most dynamic entrepreneurs, our engaging content through podcasts and blogs, or the countless collaborations sparked at our events. By championing community over competition, Startup Soiree helped strengthen Baltimore’s startup ecosystem, creating a legacy of connection, shared knowledge, and entrepreneurial growth. While the event series has since wrapped, its impact continues in the businesses, partnerships, and friendships that grew from it.
