StatuMentis BrainGym is a veteran owned company which uses neurofeedback training and virtual reality to enhance peak performance. The tools that the BrainGym uses at the moment are tailored to football players. Our programs in the BrainGym promote and measure: - Attentional Control - Focus - Capacity to Endure (prolonged) Stress - Decision Making Time - Reaction Time - Accuracy of Skills - Spatial Awareness In our BrainGym we can test the mental readiness of players and increase the performance of the brain. A positive mental readiness score is a good indicator of the ability to perform well, and a lower chance of a cognitive overload (and risk of physical injury). The BrainGym provides specialized programs for players with an injury. Our brain programs enhance and promote their cognitive abilities on the pitch, which will shorten the Return to Game time, while the adaption phase (getting used to the quickness of the play in training and the game) will be decreased. For injured players the BrainGym also provides the ability for players to keep playing the game, without any physical strain, while training their mental part of the game. This enhances motivation and overall wellbeing. Our BrainGym programs can be followed in our BrainGym locations, or we can come to your location and provide our programs there. The BrainGym session can be combined and incoporated in our regular peak performance sessions. BrainGym programs provide clubs with very accurate insights of the mental readiness to perform of the players.
