St Damian's R.C. Science College

Established in 1963, St Damian’s is a Roman Catholic 11 – 16 Mixed Comprehensive College situated on the edge of Ashton-under-Lyne, bordering on neighbouring hills and fields. The college offers an enviable range of facilities in our new purpose built building which opened in May 2011. In our new ‘state of the art’ building and facilities include: fully equipped science labs, ICT rooms, classrooms, drama studio, music and practice rooms, sports hall and outside multi games area (MUGA), floods lights astro- turf area, and an extensive sports field. The whole school benefits from wi-fi coverage which means that each student has the opportunity to use individual tablets or computers in every classroom and outside areas.
