S&T Diplomatic Circle Kansai

The Science & Technology Diplomatic Circle Kansai (S&TDC Kansai) is an open diplomacy forum for members from diplomatic posts in the Kansai area and endorsed by the Kansai Consular Corps. Most members are Diplomats, Honorary Consuls General or Officers dealing with Science & Technology as well as Higher Education and Innovation in a broader sense. The S&TDC shall offer a platform for networking with key people from the government, academia, and the private sector. Our mission is to collectively discover new bonds in Kansai and beyond and connect them back to our countries. The objective of the S&TDC is to offer a platform for activities, roundtables and visits interacting with leaders and officials of the government, academia, and private sector of Kansai. In a democratic team effort among the diplomatic colleagues in Kansai, we focus on visits and encounters to explore the political, academic and private sector of Kansai, which shape the regional innovation ecosystem.
