Steadicam Ivan

Ivan Wood is a Steadicam Operator based in the United Kingdom London with over 10 years experience. Having started in the film and television industry in 2004 at the Brighton Film School he then went on to be taught by DOP Christopher Hughes; The Garden, This is England. Having started assisting Chris, he quickly moved into camera operating for music videos and documentaries with his first break shooting the UK part of the documentary Side by Side with Keanu Reeves in 2011. Since then he has worked as a Steadicam Operator on shots for commercials including; Nivea, Microsoft, BMW and Kleenex. Ivan has also worked as Steadicam operator for a wide variety of music videos for Artists including, Ellie Goulding, Ed Sheeran, Jools Holland and Stereophonics to name a few. In 2018 he did a Tiffen Silver Steadicam workshop and fell in love with the way the camera could be moved. He now owns the latest state of the art Tiffen M2 Steadicam with built in Volt.
