Štedbanka d.d. Zagreb was founded in 1994. Ever since the beginning it wanted to be recognised as a smaller, yet high-quality, sound and efficient bank. Our opinion is that these last few years the developments in the banking market have made room for those willing to succeed on account of their business activity, offer, quality and ability to respond to prevailing trends and take their share of the burden. It is our deep conviction that such a market welcomes contrasting approaches and orientations, and that the sole judge is quality. Our bank desires to be the first option to small and medium business entities, and second option to large business entities; it wishes to fill the holes in the offer of large systems. The methods and tools used for fulfilling these objectives may vary, yet we prefer the obvious ones: swift service, economization and constant track of expenses, conservative approach to lending and efficient risk management, professionalism and staff motivation, continuous contact and partner relationship with our customers. Financial indicators are here to testify that our path was rightly chosen. The fact that in terms of capital we happen to be the largest bank owned by private Croatian investors brings us joy and fills us with pride. We rely that this fact will prove important both to our existing and future customers.
