Steelframe is a manufacturer of steel profiles that are primarily used in wall and ceiling systems for both new-construction and renovation projects. Successful policies have allowed Steelframe to establish itself as today’s market leader in this sector in the Netherlands. Steelframe profiles comply with the provisions of NEN-EN 14195 (EU), the conditions that apply to CE marking in accordance with NEN-EN 14195 (EU) 2005 and the Construction Products Regulation: EU 305/2011. In addition, our profiles comply with the DIN 18.182 quality standard, which specifies the quality of the steel and zinc coating as well as the thickness tolerance and dimensions. In order to achieve our strategic goals in the area of health and safety at work, the environment and quality (HSEQ), we have set up and structured our quality system in accordance with the international standard NEN-EN-ISO 9001:2015. This certification is subject to an annual audit by TÜV Nederland. Steelframe feels it is essential to embrace its responsibilities in contributing to a sustainable living environment and responding to market demand for sustainable products. The environmental topic is therefore key in carrying out our corporate activities, which wherefore fulfil the requirements of the international environmental standard NEN-EN-ISO 14001:2015. This certificate compels businesses to comply to rules and legislation and to take additional measures to restrict environmental risks. Steelframe continuously searches for sustainable production solutions in order to minimise its impact on the environment. Our profiles are produced from steel made from mined iron ore, recycled cars or other forms of recycled steel. Furthermore, steel is 100% recyclable. Approximately 95% of all of the steel recovered following the demolition of buildings and civil engineering structures is in fact recycled. The products of Steelframe comply fully with the Cradle to Cradle (C2C) principle.
