Stellar AC is a multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy focused on shape adaptive technology. This includes design and prototyping of high-performance Morphing Structures, Soft Robotics, Compliant Mechanisms, and Bio-Inspired mechanisms with complementary sensor integration, control algorithms and AI as required. Typical projects apply cutting edge academic research in adaptive structures and flow control, targeting performance enhancement for existing or experimental aircraft and UXV platforms. Applications range from drag and noise reduction surfaces, bio-inspired appendages to L&R devices and bespoke pneumatic actuation subsystems. We specialise in collaborative projects working with Academics, OEMs and Tier one suppliers as an extended R&D Team which includes our Netherlands collaborator Stellar Space Industries B.V. Stellar AC is an ADS Member and signatory to the ATI framework agreement.
