STEMM & Cancer Health Equity (SCHEQ) Foundation is a Black led nonprofit that was created to address structural and systemic issues that impact entry into the STEMM fields and advancement in STEMM of underrepresented groups, and health outcomes for marginalized groups navigating cancer.
Our mission is: to increase STEMM workforce diversity and improve outcomes for underrepresented, underserved, and marginalized populations across the cancer care continuum.
Our vision is: To have a trained workforce that reflects the populations experiencing the greatest disparities, and to increase cancer awareness and survivorship for all.
