We are team STEMstangs, a nonprofit local robotics team made up of nine Strongsville City School students competing in the FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC). FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded in 1989 to inspire young people's interest and participation in science and technology. As part of FTC, team members are challenged to design, build, program, and operate robots that perform a series of tasks and ultimately compete in head-to-head challenges with other teams.
