For years, Chris undertook self-designed extreme walking challenges – from year-long step goals to non-stop multi-day treks spanning hundreds of kilometers – to raise awareness and funds for mental health charities.

This profound connection became the driving force behind formalizing Step Into Action as a foundation in 2025, with a mission to inspire action, build stronger communities, and create a lasting impact for those facing mental health challenges through the simple yet powerful act of walking together
