Step-On Hellas company has been manufacturing and selling orthopaedic products since 1998 and is specialized in manufacturing orthoses (AFOs and KAFOs), including various innovative rehabilitation products. We manufacture custom-made orthotics after taking specific measurements (plaster model-moulded) orthotics: – Ankle Foot Orthosis (A.F.O.) – Knee Ankle Foot Orthosis (K.A.F.O.) – Walkabout System for state and gait for paraplegic people. We produce the STEP-ON AFO family of products and Components for the construction of an AFO and/or a KAFO. Step-On is a highly innovative range of ankle-foot-orthoses (AFOs) for the treatment of drop foot. The unique feature of these AFOs is that they are articulated and offer adjustable dorsiflexion assistance, while being off-the-shelf products. This way they allow essential functional movements during gait cycle, while at the same time providing the exact amount of control required by each patient at every stage of their rehabilitation. • Patent is granted in Europe and the USA. • RND Department proceeds in new technologies. • Certified by the Evaluation Section of Sanitary Material, which comes under the Products Assessment of the Greek National Organization for Medicines. Our products are CE marked in accordance with EU Directive 93/42/Ε.U. Council (14th June 1993), relating to medical technological products. • Registered with the Medical Devices Manufacturers Department of the Greek National Organization for Medicines. We follow the European Legislation procedure for the approval of Environmental Terms (license number OIK20319/03-04-2007 by the Prefecture of Athens). • Certified by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance according to ∆Υ8δ/1348 Ministerial Decision of the Greek Ministry of Health.
