Step Up is on a mission to educate, inspire and empower all children to achieve their full potential. Headquartered in Boston, MA, we work on the ground in Molepolole, the largest village in Botswana, providing experiential learning and educational enrichment programs that promote the social-emotional learning (SEL) and 21st Century skills development of vulnerable youth and young adults.
Going beyond the classroom, Step Up’s ACCESS Education, Step Forward and Parent Support programs provide access to the long-term support, resources and environment that all young people need to build the confidence, resilience and self-reliance to thrive from childhood to adulthood. Step Up is the first organization in Botswana to provide year-round experiential education programming focused on social-emotional learning (SEL) and 21st Century Skills development.
