STEP-UP

STEP-UP is one of a group of Strategic Technical Platform Projects funded by the UK Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council. The project is developing communities, training and career opportunities to support digital Research Technical Professionals (dRTPs), i.e. professionals who are specialists in research software engineering, research data engineering/data stewardship, and research infrastructure engineering. STEP-UP is a UK-based, regional consortium, focused on the London region, led by Imperial College London alongside partner institutions UCL, King’s College London and University of Westminster.
