The HTAF GMP Facility is an advanced GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) certified facility situated within the esteemed Healthcare Technology Accelerator Facility (HTAF) team at the University of Edinburgh. This cutting-edge facility specializes in the production of Investigational Medicinal Products MIA (IMP) and has secured certification from the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA). SFU excels in aseptic sterile fills, tailored for clinical trials, while also accommodating commercial contracts. Our commitment to quality and compliance positions them as industry leaders in pharmaceutical innovation, ensuring the safe and precise production of sterile pharmaceuticals for both research and commercial use.
The HTAF GMP Facility is currently undergoing a transformative relocation to a state-of-the-art facility that is three times the size of its previous site. This strategic move is driven by an ambitious objective to significantly increase production capacity and capabilities. The new facility is currently in the validation phase, ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality and regulatory compliance. Once validation is complete, the facility will promptly submit applications for Investigational Medicinal Products (IMPs) to the MHRA.
