Our people, and parts make the world a better place every day, with over two billion parts shipped annually. The headquarters are in Thomaston, CT and there are three manufacturing facilities: Thomaston, CT, El Paso, TX and a joint venture facility in Hangzhou, China.
The original company was founded in New York City in 1936 as Stewart Stamping. Eyelets for Industry, Inc (known as EFI) was founded in 1964 in Waterbury, CT. Stewart Stamping and EFI joined forces in 2003 to become Stewart EFI. We have been serving our customers for over 85 years.
Today, we serve customers in a wide range of industrial sectors, including automotive, electric vehicles, electrical, electronics, medical, consumer, and specialty batteries. In addition to providing deep-drawn components, progressive die stampings, slide formed components and automated assemblies, we offer value-added services that include engineering services, prototype fabrication, and other secondary operations.
