St.Helens Mind

St. Helens Mind aims to promote and preserve good mental health and to assist those experiencing mental distress to regain their full potential. We are funded to provide a Befriending Service, where volunteers are recruited, supported and maintained to provide one to one support to a vulnerable people. We also provide groups and activities to suit the many needs of our members. We have an allotment, creative groups, music groups including a choir and various activities to encourage involvement and perr support. Our aim is to support people aged 18+ who are experiencing mental health difficulties in St. Helens Borough so they achieve their full potential and play an active part in community life. We aim to help people living in St. Helens regardless of their cultural, religious and lifestyle needs. Our services are non-judgemental and offer opportunities to develop self-esteem and confidence by encouraging and supporting involvement.
