Stilleben was founded in 2002 by Ditte Reckweg and Jelena Schou Nordentoft both of whom are educated product designers from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts.
Since the beginning the Stilleben store has been offering a carefully curated mix of handmade ceramics and glassware, one of a kind-products, textiles, furniture and prints – all handpicked by the two founders.
Today Stilleben designs and produces their own collection of Tableware, Textiles and Interior. The production focuses on high quality materials and skilled craftmanship, creating valuable and long lasting products.
The spacious flagship store has been located in the center of Copenhagen near by Nørreport and the city Foodhall since 2018. Stillebens online store launched in 2006.
The Stilleben duo also designs products for acknowledged Danish design companies such as Kähler, Skagerak, Motarasu and Lyngby Porcelæn.
