About Stima General Motors
The world economic forum estimates 2 to 4 million motorcycles will be sold in Kenya and Nigeria alone by 2040 and it is our mission to ensure that translation is in line with the global outcry to achieve the 1.5 degree celsius goal highlighted in the Cop27 agenda. However, as society progresses through sustainable innovation, well too often the option of sustainability is just too expensive and as such the option discriminates and never trickles down to the 9.2% of the world's poor population. In order to protect the planet, sustainability and positive impact investment must be rewarding and inclusive to all. As much as we appreciate the innovations of men like Elon Mask, they have set a standard to follow, but the reality is we simply all cannot afford to own a Tesla. The adoption of the electric vehicle will be a challenge to the African Market and other emerging markets but maybe the electric motorcycle won't be?! An efficient transition can be established by listening to the market and promoting a collective model of corporate responsibility and recyclable ownership over products. We intend on building on this culture of circular and shared consumption. We have developed a business model that targets Kenya's 1.5 million motorcycle taxis localy referred to as Boda bodas. The Market has a CAGR of 5% dictating 75000 annual additional sales. Stima Motors has developed a highly innovative and disruptive business model set to completely tussle the combustion engine motorcycle market in Kenya. Such a steady transition will have a significant positive impact on the carbon footprint of Nairobi. We have achieved this by implementing the following business strategic options: 1. Design and manufacture a batteryless electric motorcycle taxi for the East African Market. 2. Implement East Africa's Largest Battery Exchange Network owned and managed by Stima Motors. 3. Implement East Africa's Largest Charging Network with a focus on Transport terminals.
