Stitch for RMG

The STITCH for RMG project aims to catalyze cross-industry conversations on future-of-work related business innovations and mainstream them to safeguard the livelihoods of Bangladeshi women garments workers against the negative impacts of impending future-of-work implications and increase Bangladeshi RMG sectors’ competitiveness. Jointly organized by BRAC and H&M Foundation, the STITCH for RMG project aims to find realistic and implementable solutions to futureproof the RMG sector and the jobs of millions of workers dependent on it. The first part of the project comprises a virtual, global innovation conference that will offer a space for all the industry stakeholders to share perspectives towards a shared vision and objectives for innovating together. The second part will comprise a global innovation challenge to crowdsource and select grounded business innovations aimed at ensuring worker welfare from innovators and entrepreneurs within the ecosystem.
