St. John’s High School is a Catholic co-ed school run by the Dominican Sisters.
It was founded in April 1925 by Sister Mary Wilhelmine (O.P) and her co-founder Sister Rita.
By December 1925 St. John's Emerald Hill School had a total of 18 boarding students and today it boasts as may as 700 day scholars.
The school's motto is "VERITAS" which translates to "TRUTH".
