Founded in 2012 in Izmir, Turkey, STO started as a mining company primarily exporting natural stone to North America.
Starting from 2016, STO decided to invest into agriculture and started by importing distributing fertilizers. STO is the first company in Turkey importing, licensing and distributing bulk UAN (urea ammonium nitrate solution), a fertilizer that widely used in agriculturally advanced countries.
In 2019, STO transformed into a GROUP and launched its 360° AGRICULTURE concept with;
• TRUAGRO LIFE, production and distribution of chemical fertilizers,
• PHENIX AGRO AQUA, distribution of liquid and 100% water soluble fertilizers,
• TRUAGRO FRESH, picking, packing and exporting of fresh fruit and vegetables,
• TRUAGRO LIVE, livestock.
The GROUP opened an agricultural company in Ukraine aiming to harmonize the agricultural knowledge and usage of both countries.
The group activated "TRUPLAST" in 2021; a plastic injection plant – based on 100% recycled plastic - that will produce and distribute packaging mainly for agricultural use.
Finally, STO GROUP added "NODOR", air purification, odor elimination and waste management.
