I offer consulting and advising services to early stage startups (pre-seed, seed, A). Having launched products through both in-house and contract manufacturing, I can quickly help identify the right model fit for a given team (License/OBM, OEM, JDM, in-house), as well as help author development, validation, and launch plans. Project framework, milestones, CM advice, and acceptance criteria - for hours a week. My business also specializes in contract diligence for VCs looking to make an initial investment, or substantial reinvestment, in HW startups. I bring 17 years of experience spanning D2C & B2B companies (Lutron, Bose, Latch), with a focus on product, design, HW engineering, and manufacturing. As a department leader, I have directly managed teams of mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and quality engineers (both in-house and contract), and will be able to efficiently interrogate designs and processes for maturity and feasibility. As both a PM and lead engineer, I have worked extensively with industry-leading designers on UI/UX, as well as cross-functional NPI/GTM teams, and can offer candid holistic commentary in addition to reports on the engineering specifics. I have seen all scales of businesses over the course of my career, from a 20 person startup to global category-leading business units, and can help spot and advise on common issues and mitigations.
