STOP THE BLEED® is focused on training individuals from all walks of life in the critical life saving skills needed to stop major bleeding. Statistics have shown us that bleeding to death can occur in as little as 3-5 minutes, yet the national average response time for professional first responders is much longer than this. In order to increase the chances that injured citizens can survive a major bleeding emergency, bystanders must be trained and equipped to take immediate action in the first critical moments of an injury. The mission of STOP THE BLEED® is to raise awareness and spread the education and knowledge needed to save lives.
