We make products and places with and for the people they represent. Agile and multi-disciplinary, we are an association of designers, architects, artists, engineers, and scientists, who work with young people from underrepresented backgrounds to research and deliver regenerative design projects: from prototype to product, feasibility to fit-out and furnishing, engaging to exhibiting. With every project, we take a holistic approach to integrating our school education programme, with our studio design practice, and our social engagement showcase of published media and public events. Our goal is to develop the creative practice of a new generation of designers who come from and reflect the communities they design for, equip them with ‘green skills’ in circular manufacturing, to make products and places more inclusive, sustainable, and dynamic. As a not-for-profit organisation, we partner with public, private, and philanthropic organisations to realise shared social value and environmental commitments. Partners include: Nike, Uniqlo, Levi’s, Heatherwick Studio, V&A, The Tate, The Whitechapel Gallery, The Barbican, Legal and General, Argent Related, LandSecurities, London Design Festival, Craft Week, Ercol, Rains, University Arts London, UCL, Oxford University, Central Saint Martins, Hackney Council, Camden Council, Haringey Council.
