Stories by Strangers

Stories by Stranger is an online support community and safe space for victims of sexual and mental abuse. It allows people to share their stories anonymously and some of them are collaboratively turned into animations posted on social media. The animations aim to disrupt the flow of desensitized media about mental health and abuse against women. This project recognizes women and survivors worldwide, emphasizing the critical need for safety awareness. The project has garnered more than 3 million views, 40 thousand members from 20 countries, and has received over 20,000 story submissions. We have connected over 100 people with local therapists in their area and also helped people with Pro-bono Legal help.
