Since Steve Polk founded Stormwater STL LLC in April 2008, our professional stormwater management services have remained purposefully focused on the inspection and maintenance of stormwater BMPs (Best Management Practices) in St. Louis City and County. From a single inspection in 2008, we have grown steadily, now servicing 175 sites and completing more than 500 inspections this year. Our database includes inspection results for more than 25 percent of the BMPs in place at St. Louis commercial, industrial and institutional sites. Our staff has unmatched expertise – thanks to the hands-on knowledge we’ve gained while documenting the performance of these stormwater treatment systems.
While not a regulatory requirement, Steve affixes his Professional Engineer seal and signature to each report. He does this to let each customer know that he stands squarely behind our work – both personally and professionally. To our knowledge, no other firm in St. Louis has voluntarily accepted this added level of responsibility for the inspections and maintenance of these stormwater BMPs.
